Gumi held the tin in her hands, it was heart-shaped and decorated neatly with an orange bow. It was adorable. Gumi wanted it to be hers, but it wasn’t. It was addressed to a Miss Kagamine. Rin. She couldn’t help but feel envious of whatever could have been inside of the tin. Come to think of it, what was in the tin? Her best guess was cookies, but when she shook it there was little to no sound.
‘Stupid! You’re probably breaking Rin’s gift.’
It would be best not to snoop. This was Rin’s present after all. Then again it was mistakenly delivered to her so maybe fate was trying to tell her to snoop into it! Gumi was already approaching the small blonde, but her mind raced with every step she took towards her. What if the gift was just a bunch of worms? Or an ink bomb?! She couldn’t let that happen to poor Rin!
’D-Don’t worry Rin-chi! Gumi’s going to save you!’
Turning her back towards Rin now she ripped open the tin, destroying the bow and letting the card attached fall to the ground. The loud clatter of the tin’s top hitting the ground was loud enough to wake the entire block.
‘Chocolates…’?
