[ Frigid fingers rubbed together and numb toes curled underneath the heavy weight of Gumi’s comforter. It had been her fault for forgetting to pay the heating bill and boy was she starting to regret it. Beside her sat a trembling male wearing at least four sweaters. His arms pulled her close and she mimicked, resting her head on his shoulder. It would have been kinda romantic if she could feel the tip of her nose. How had they ended up like this? A little sledding fun cut short by a -15 windchill and a nasty slip on the ice. ]

[ They had been sitting like this for way too long, when were they ever going to move? Her legs were starting to fall asleep! The look on Len’s face gave the impression that he was not very keen on the idea of moving from his spot on the couch, but she had other ideas. Her fingers slipped under, one… two … three … four layers of clothing pressing her cold palms against his warm skin, snickering as his stomach muscles retracted at her icy touch. Oh, what a mean look she got! ]
